The PHI Laboratory is creating a database of published research in public health informatics. Initially, the database will provide a description of the range of scientific evidence in this area and a baseline understanding of its definition, history, and potential future. We will continue to build the database to provide a mechanism for meta-analyses on the effectiveness of public health informatics for improving the health of populations.

When the initial database is completed, it will be made available on this website to others interested in public health informatics. Site visitors will be able to access information on empirical studies, review articles, and instruments used in public health informatics research.
