Intranet: Staff Use

The mission of the Maryland Asian American Health Solutions (MAAHS) is to reduce health disparities in Asian Americans living in Maryland. The mission is achieved through research to identify health needs and development and evaluation of interventions.

The MAAHS research has been supported by  the "Asian American Health Initiative" of Montgomery County Maryland - a program that seeks to develop a health needs assessment and community resource database to assess the health related needs of Asian American residents, particularly those who are low income and uninsured, and explore alternative approaches to alleviating health access barriers.
